This hole punch (stamp) is designed to make a hole in the center of commercially available 55mm filter paper for the Leica EM GP.

The hole punch is precision machined and is made from a corrosion resistant stainless steel alloy. The cutting edges are hardened to preserve sharpness. All these subtle features make it expensive to manufacture but extremely high quality and virtually indestructible, it will last a lifetime. The ability to punch your own blotting paper makes freezing a lot more reproducible compared to the wrinkly filter paper that is commercially available.

Set of 12 impermeable membranes that are shaped exactly like a piece of filter paper. Place these membranes behind your filter paper prior to freezing to prevent your protein from being absorbed onto the factory sponge and to keep any contaminants on the sponge away from your grids. These membranes can be washed with soap and water and disinfected with ethanol.

These membranes are critical for BSL work and make disinfecting protocols much simpler and more effective. This set of 12 allows for 6 pairs to be used exclusively for particular experiments.

For those with specific requirements, ACLAR 33C membranes are also available.

Use this kit to upgrade your cryo-FIB to allow for long-term operation.

Typical cryo-FIB stages and other cryo parts are cooled via gaseous nitrogen passing through a tank of liquid nitrogen for heat exchange. The OEM nitrogen tank does not provide sufficient volume for greater than 6-8 hours of operation (first release) and less than 24 hours for OEM “upgraded” systems. This results in the need to constantly top off the reservoir tank and other mandatory maintenance that hinders productivity.

The SubAngstrom long operation upgrade will allow for at least ~48 hours of continuous operation and indefinite operation times if the autofill feature is enabled. This upgrade will also allow for seamless refill without needing to cryo-cycle your system or stop milling operations—a feature that is not available on the Aquilos™ 1 or Aquilos™ 2, Aquilos™ 2+, or Hydra™ system.

This kit includes:

-All hardware necessary for heat exchanger conversion

-All users will receive free installation WORLDWIDE (travel and lodging expenses included)

Use our Single Stub Clipping Station to clip and prepare grids the old-fashioned way. Prior to clipping stations, these single stubs were used in the cassette transfer station. They are a convenient way to clip grids without having to cool down a large area, or to clip at room temperature. Available in metal or hardened plastic.

The SubAngstrom Gen2 Cryo Dryer is a must-have for every cryo-EM lab or facility. Use the dryer to quickly and safely warm up all your cryo-EM sample preparation tools. The dryer uses an inert medium to quickly dry your tools without causing noisy or unsafe air turbulence nearby—a huge step forward from commonly-used blow dryers. The dryer can be used to warm up all sample prep tools as seen in the photo: clipping stations, pucks, and anything else that can fit in the vessel. The dryer comes in a 110V or 220V configuration for use worldwide.

This hole punch (stamp) is designed to make a hole in the center of commercially available 55mm filter paper for the FEI Vitrobot.
